Kimberly Snyder's Nutritional Blog

Okay, so I have come across Kimberly Snyder's nutritional blog and to say the least I have been blown away. She resides in New York which is where I live (yeah!) so she's close by. She's a clinical Nutritionist and skin care expert. Her blog is educational, spiritual and inspiring. She also does yoga and posts pictures of all her yoga positions which are mind boggling. I have always been interested in nutrition and natural healing so this blog is a godsend to me. She has also the founder Envision Beauty which is the maker of her skincare line The Solution. The Solution is an all in one skin care treatment free of Parabens, Ethyl Alcohol, and harsh synthetics. My sister's Bridal Makeup

On this blessed day I was honored to do my sister's makeup. I was nervous to say the least. There is no better critic than your own sister but she looked beautiful.

This is an amazing deal! It's Nars So Famous set which includes a full size blusher in Deep Throat(one of my favorites), Nars Multiple in orgasm(mini size) and Bettina Velvet Matte Lip Pencil. My new skincare routine for blemish free skin

I have a new skincare routine for blemish free youthful skin. Lately my skin has been irritated from using so many different products, so I have stopped the at home chemical and microdermabrasion peels. I have cut back on applying masks to my face and I have began a new skincare regime. For exmample, I used to use a salicylic face wash, now I use Oil of olay cleansing cloths for oily skin to remove makeup and Cerave hydrating cleanser free of sulfates and fragrances, which is key to maintain a healthy PH balance. For my night time routine after cleansing my skin I apply Clinique Even Better Clinical for hyperpigmentation from old breakouts and past skin damage. Lastly, I apply Cerave Moisturizing Cream which contains Hyaluronic Acid which is naturally found in skin which keeps it plump and youthful looking. It also contains Ceramides which act as a protective barrier sealing in moisture and protects skin against the environment. Now I alternate between the Even Better Clinical with Retin-a Micro. I will use the Retin-a Micro three times a week and Even better for the rest of the week. During the day I use the Cerave only and my Proactive Toner which is a staple for me because it really softens and prepares my skin for other products. After toning I dab a little Proactive Repairing Lotion only where I need it and then wear Oil of Olay Ageless Moisturizer with SPF 20. So Far so good! I am on a mission to have healthy clear youthful skin. I have always taken good care of my skin, now that I am 36 I have to be diligent with my routine. It's not easy doing this routine every night after running around after a 14 month old all day but my skin will thank me in the end. I would like to know what your skin care routine is and if you have any products that you love.

New drugstore finds!

I found some really pretty makeup products that I think are worth blogging about.
1. Revlon ColorStay Eyeshadow Quad in Steel Impressions (Image shown)
This quad has the most beautiful eyeshadows, there is a vanilla color in a satin finish, a light smoky gray, a dark sparkly emerald green and a shimmery black. I got this quad at walmart, I haven't seen it anywhere else. It's a great quad for a smoky eye and the emerald green shade is to die for.
2. N.Y.C Cheek Glow in Outside Cafe
This blush is a pinky bronze color, it reminds me of soft mink by covergirl.
3. Covergirl Cheekers blush in Natural shimmer
It's a pale light pink shimmer that can be placed on the tops of your cheekbone for a candlelit glow.
4. Loreal True Match Blush in Innocent Flush and Sweet Ginger
Innocent is a bright peach blush that awakens your skin with a glow from within finish. Sweet Ginger is a beautiful pinky rose color that gives you that pinched cheek look.
5. Loreal HIP Intense eyeshadow duo in Charming
The colors in this duo are a light goldy champagne with a shimmery dark purple. This is a beautiful eyeshadow pair. I will be rocking this look for a long time to come.
This list of Cosmetics were products I came across in the last couple of days. I am on a mission to find cosmetics you don't ordinarily pay attention to. I am scouring aisles to find those diamonds in the ruff. I will update you periodically with all my new finds I think are blog worthy.
